The Chamber of Arta organized on Monday 13-14 May 2019 the INNO.TRITION kick off meeting in its premises, with the participation of all partners, the University of Ioannina, as well as the two Italian partners, the University Aldo Moro of Bari and the National Research Council- Institute of Sciences of Food Production (ISPA). The meeting focused on the purpose, the specific objectives and the expected results of the Project, as well as on each beneficiary’s role in it. The timetable and the Procurement Plans were also thoroughly discussed, as well as, the Project’s Communication Strategy. A detailed presentation of Working Packages and their activities was included, with specific reference to WP3 (Product development and pilot application in animals), on which research institutions (PB2, PB3, PB4) gave a presentation on the procedure to be followed for product creation and how they are going to contribute to the development of a common methodology. The second day of the kick – off meeting, the representatives of the MA provided useful guidelines for the Project implementation and specifically Mr Gargano gave a relevant presentation. The meeting ended with the representatives of the Chamber thanking all beneficiaries and inviting them to visit the prefecture of Arta in the future.
